"Maybe it's just nature's way of trying to tell you it's time to head into the woods and check out with some dignity. This whole survival of the fittest thing has always been a bit over your head, big guy."
Bucky Katt, Get Fuzzy by Darby Conley

If, way back when, someone had bothered to add the word "starving" to the career of "artist" I would have made a different choice. Like driving a truck or selling used cars. Sweatshop workers in China make more than I do. Perhaps if I'd gotten a "real" job I'd have a lot more to show for 15 or so years of collecting.
Most of my gallery will probably have people scratching their heads. Look at my WTF. . . I mean, FMA section. Who in their right mind would collect sketches of him (and only him), display them proudly, and still want more?! Yes, me. I want more Armstrong sketches!
I never made any claim to being in my right mind anyway.
And. . . while on the subject of insanity, my favorite eyepatched lunatic is almost the sole occupant of my Bleach sections. Kenpachi shares a favorite pastime as I do. . . naps! And sake. . .
The painting is a 3 by 4 inch oil of Mt. Susitna as seen from the nearby coast.
